San Bernardino County is the largest county in the contiguous United States by land area. It is located in the South Eastern section of California, bordering Nevada and Arizona to the east and Los Angeles and Orange County to the west. Despite having a population of over 2 million, San Bernardino County has a relatively low population density, with around 100 residents per square mile.
