Template:Infobox professional wrestler Reno Anoa'i is an American professional wrestler. He is perhaps best known for his appearances with the Italian Professional wrestling promotion Nu-Wrestling Evolution under the ring name Black Pearl. He is also a member of the famed Anoa'i wrestling family.

Career[]

Anoa'i trained as a wrestler under his uncle, Afa Anoa'i, debuting in 2002 as "Reno the Black Pearl". He went on to wrestle for the Pennsylvanian World Xtreme Wrestling promotion. He eventually shortened his ring name to "Black Pearl".

In 2005, Anoa'i journeyed to Italy and began wrestling for Nu-Wrestling Evolution promotion. In NWE, Anoa'i adopted the gimmick of an aristocrat, claiming to be "The Count of California". On November 25, 2005 in Naples, he won a tournament to become the first NWE World Heavyweight Champion, beating out Scott Steiner, Test, Rikishi, R-Truth, Charlie Haas, FBI Johnny Stamboli, Chuck Palumbo.

In 2009, he appeared in the Hulkamania wrestling tour in Australia teaming up with Gangrel to wrestle the Nasty Boys, Rikishi and Too Cool.

Black Pearl is also owns and operate KnokX Pro Entertainment and Academy in Los Angeles Ca, with trainers Rikishi and Gangrel.

Black Pearl created to concept of the Territory League and is partnered up with Née Leau in F3 production Company that produced Territory League, full Faction Fighting and various reality shows.

Black Pearl is also featured on the National Commercial CAPRI SUN EPIC ADVENTURE

Personal life[]

Anoa'i is married to Tiffany Smith, with whom he has a daughter, Vaughan Ryan.[1] Reno is the son of Tumua Anoa'i, who is the eldest brother of Afa and Sika Anoa'i.
